Background

APC is well suited for immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence studies of oligodendrocytes and optic nerves due to the antibody_s staining of the cell body as opposed to the myelinated processes.

1. I'm interested in your anti-APC (NB600-1021). The provided information mentions that it recognizes aa 1-226. Could you tell me please the accession number of the target sequence, as well as the possibility to accurately detect the bovine APC (uniron Q1RMK3) with your Ab, please?
   • The antibody corresponds to the sequence in isoform 1 of the human form of the protein. I did an alignment and it looks like the majority of the sequences are identical between human and bovine in that N-term location (please see: UniProtP25054). If you wish to test in bovine, there is a good chance of cross-reactivity, although we cannot guarantee it. You should take part in our Innovators Reward Program to save you some money if you plan on testing in bovine samples.
