Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) Antibody (Hyb-8) - Azide and BSA Free Summary

Description
1.0 mg/ml of antibody purified from Bioreactor Concentrate by Protein A/G. Prepared in 10mM PBS WITHOUT BSA & azide. Also available at 200 ug/ml WITH BSA & azide (NBP2-32811).

Antibody with azide - store at 2 to 8C. Antibody without azide - store at -20 to -80 C.
Immunogen
Biotinylated sheep immunoglobulin
Localization
Depends on the target
Specificity
It recognizes both the free and protein-conjugated (either soluble or cell bound) form of biotin. This monoclonal antibody is highly specific to biotin and shows no cross-reaction with other structurally related compounds. It has a very high affinity for biotin and is excellent for use in various amplification techniques. In some applications, localization of biotinylated probes with avidin produces unacceptably high background staining. Anti-biotin antibody may be substituted to decrease this noise.
