• DAB Enhancing Solution is a ready-to-use reagent for toning DAB stained sections.
• A ten second exposure to this solution darkens the reaction product.
• Only visible DAB precipitate is toned, so little amplification is observed with the enhancing reagent.

• Application Notes: Enhancement can take from 5 - 20 seconds and should be determined by the investigator. Usually a 10 - 15 second exposure to the Enhancing Solution is sufficient. The color may vary somewhat depending on the intensity of untoned DAB precipitate. Generally the toned DAB reaction product has a darker reddish brown color. Overexposed tissue will have increased background and may turn pink with time..
