Dopamine Antibody (2B11) Summary

Immunogen
Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with dopamine conjugated with bovine serum albumin.
Specificity
This detects catecholamine. Affinity of Mab 2BG11: Kd = 10^-8 for DA-BSA Kd = 10^-7 for NA-BSA Kd = 10^-4 for unconjugated DA. At 1 uM MAb 2B11 inhibits dopamine binding to D-2 receptor in membrane P-2 fraction from human Corpus striatum.
