Clone TF9-10H10 was used by HLDA to establish CD designation.
Immunogen
Denatured Tissue factor isolated from human brain by the Factor VII affinity method
Localization
Membrane; single pass type I membrane protein.
Specificity
CD142, also known as Tissue Factor, is the membrane receptor for coagulation factors VII and VIIa and is the cell surface initiator of coagulation. It is the major molecule of this type and is criticial for controlling hemostasis, thrombosis and inflammation. NB100-65221 is specific for an epitope within the extracellular domain, epitope locus I. It recognizes both the reduced and native non-reduced human and primate tissue factors. It does not inhibit coagulation or neutralize factor VII binding to CD142.

Background
A series of complicated reactions take place in the body whenever a blood clot begins to form. The major initiator of these reactions is an enzyme system called the tissue factor/factor VIIa (TF/FVIIa) complex. Animal tests show that various inhibitors of the TF/FVIIa complex can minimize blood clot formation as well as inflammatory responses.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.

Have you tested any of your anti-tissue factor antibodies against pig? I need one for western blot.
Unfortunately, none of our Tissue Factor antibodies have yet been tested with pig samples, so we cannot guarantee that any of them will work in pig. Here is a link to Tissue Factor antibodies that have been validated for use in Western blot. If you are interested in testing any of these antibodies against pig samples, you could become eligible for our Innovator's Reward program.
Could you please tell me the molecular weight of Tissue Factor? I want to use Antibody NB100-65221 for western blot.
Tissue factor, also called Coagulation Factor III, is a 295 amino acids long protein and its molecular weight is approximately 33kDa.
