Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: IGF-I/IGF-1 Antibody [NBP2-16929] - Human breast carcinoma. IGF1 antibody diluted at 1:500. Antigen Retrieval: Trilogy™ (EDTA based, pH 8.0) buffer, 15min.

Western Blot: IGF-I/IGF-1 Antibody [NBP2-16929] - Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with IGF1 antibody diluted at 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (NBP2-19301) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Western Blot: IGF-I/IGF-1 Antibody [NBP2-16929] - Various tissue extracts (50 ug) were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with IGF1 antibody diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (NBP2-19301) was used to detect the primary antibody.

Background

The protein encoded by this gene is similar to insulin in function and structure and is a member of a family of proteins involved in mediating growth and development. The encoded protein is processed from a precursor, bound by a specific receptor, and secreted. Defects in this gene are a cause of insulin-like growth factor I deficiency. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
